M.J. Reider Associates is one of the area’s established manufacturers selected to receive part of the $392,200 investment the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s (BFTP/NEP) Board of Directors approved to support regional economic development.

As an established manufacturer Ben Franklin provides 1:1 matching funding for work with a college or university partner on technology-based innovation.

As a partner with Lehigh University’s Center for Supply Chain Research M.J. Reider Associates received a $17,600 investment. This investment will support the company with process enhancements to improve efficiencies. As a private contract laboratory providing analytic testing support for drinking water, non-potable water, and solid or chemical matter, the firm is growing due to an increased emphasis on monitoring drinking water.

“We are excited to use the Ben Franklin Technology Partners funding to improve the routing and scheduling process for the 13 counties we serve,” said Meghan Helinek, Vice President M.J. Reider Associates.
